Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data AffilStack collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have about it.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (stored encrypted) when you complete a purchase and set up your account.

  • Payment information: billing details are collected and processed by our payment processors (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe and PayPal) — we do not store your full card number on our servers.

  • Usage data: the content you generate, links you create, contacts you save, and how you interact with the Platform, so we can operate and improve the service.

  • Communications: messages you send us through the Contact form, support tickets, or email.

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.

  • Browser extension (optional): if you install the AffilStack Chrome extension, it reads only the tab you are on, and only when you click its icon. When you click Add to CRM, Generate message, Suggest reply or Save, it sends to your own AffilStack account the details shown on that page: a Google Maps business's name, category, address, phone, website and rating; a LinkedIn profile's or company's public details, or the conversation you ask it to reply to; or a page's address, title and highlighted text. It stores your extension token in your browser, never your password, never sends messages for you, and does not read or track any other browsing.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and maintain your account and process subscription payments and renewals.

  • To provide the Platform's features, including AI content generation, link tracking, and CRM tools.

  • To communicate with you about your account, billing, support requests, and — where you have not opted out — product updates.

  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

  • To improve the Platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Payment processors (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, PayPal) to process your subscription.

  • AI service providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) as needed to generate the content you request, limited to what each request requires.

  • Infrastructure and email-delivery providers that host the Platform and deliver transactional email on our behalf.

  • Law enforcement or regulators where required by law.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to control them.

Analytics and advertising cookies are only used with your consent, which you can give, refuse or withdraw at any time from Cookie settings. We honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Our analytics only measures activity on AffilStack's own website and dashboard — never on other sites.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated video files created by the UGC feature are automatically deleted after 72 hours regardless of account status, to manage server load — download anything you want to keep before then. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us; some records (such as billing history) may be retained longer where required for legal or accounting purposes.

Connected accounts and platform data

Google (Gmail and YouTube). If you connect Gmail, AffilStack uses Google's gmail.send permission only to send the emails you create and schedule in your AffilStack CRM, from your own address. If you connect YouTube, AffilStack uses youtube.upload only to upload the videos you choose to publish, and youtube.readonly only to show which channel is connected. We do not read, store, sell or share the content of your mailbox or channel, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or to train AI models. AffilStack's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube uploads are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove AffilStack's access at any time from Connected Accounts or at Google security settings.

Instagram and Facebook. If you connect Instagram, AffilStack uses the permissions you approve only to publish the Reels you choose to post and to show which account is connected.

TikTok. If you connect TikTok, AffilStack uses your basic profile and video.publish only to post the videos you choose, with the privacy and interaction settings you pick.

Deleting your data. Click Disconnect next to any account on Connected Accounts and we delete its access tokens immediately. To delete everything we hold about a connected account, email support@affilstack.com with the subject "Data deletion" and we will confirm within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Contact page.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive data, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice.
